Very interesting research summary on the link between sleep deprivation, weight loss, glucose levels, appetite, and cardiac issues. I'm posting this in part to remind myself of the importance of a good night's sleep, and the fact that no amount of caffeine can equal a rested brain.

Great post by Angela.

As for the skinny jeans- I sure hope they are referring to FEMALE construction workers. B/c a male construction worker in skinny jeans is REALLY something I DON'T want to see!!!

On to Monkey See, Monkey Don't- It makes so much sense, really. Seeing that something gets someone into trouble makes us want to avoid that thing. But we tend to get creative about how to find rewards. They did it that way and it worked for them, but I can do it this way instead. A my way is better mentality- most people prefer to be unique.

I get the ambivalence piece. I don't know how many times in this recovery process I have felt absolutely frozen- incapable of taking a step in ANY direction for the anxiety it causes. A sucky place to be.

I really enjoyed reading "Break the pattern and win - you are more than an eating disorder". I've been thinking a lot about the lies I tell myself earlier today and this articel really rang true for me. Thanks for the round up. x
