You're welcome! I love sorting through the information out there, and I almost collect it by instinct at this point.

Carrie, your posts are not only informative, but beautifully raw and honest, presenting a template for recovery that so many of us with EDs are desperate for. You are like a Sherpa for the mountains of recovery. (metephor- ha ha) Seriously- after 20+ years of being entrenched in anorexia- it was your writings that gave me hope, and boot imprints in the snow into which I could put my feet. Thank you.

Thanks, Carrie. I took the survey. I hope it is helpful to their project. It made me sad. I can't believe I am still here after all these years, at my age. I don't know when or how I am ever going to emerge from this. Thanks for giving me hope that it is possible.

About Me

I'm a science writer, a jewelry design artist, a bookworm, a complete geek, and mom to a wonderful kitty. I am also recovering from a decade-plus battle with anorexia nervosa. I believe that complete recovery is possible, and that the first step along that path is full nutrition.
