"This Emotional Life"

Tonight is going to be the first night of a three-night miniseries on PBS called "This Emotional Life," hosted by Harvard psychologist Dan Gilbert, author of "Stumbling on Happiness." It looks both interesting and informative, so definitely tune in. The website promo for the series described it as:

This 3-part series represents what television does best. It opens a window into real lives, exploring ways to improve our social relationships, cope with emotional issues, and become more positive, resilient individuals.

(I, personally, would also place YouTube kitten videos into this category, but that might be just me.)

Check out the trailer here:

Enter your zip code here to find your local PBS station.

It's on from 9pm-11pm each night where I live, but it might be different for you, so double check. I'm guessing clips will be available online afterwards, but I don't know for sure.

Monday's episode: Relationships and Emotional Health
Tuesday's episode: Negative emotions including anger and fear
Wednesday's episode: Conclusion, a look at happiness

Lynn Grefe, the CEO of the National Eating Disorders Association, is supposed to have a blog about the show, but the website is currently down, so I couldn't locate the link. I will fix this later!

Happy viewing!

Thanks for the heads up! Looks like something I'd want to tune into tonight after Anthony Bourdain!
Oh and...funny you mentioned the kitten videos on youtube, because my mother, sister, and I just spent the last forty minutes looking at "cute kittens" clips.
