Full contact job hunting

I apologize (again) for the scanty posting this week. My internship--with it's 4-hour roundtrip commute--is winding down, and I am desperately searching for both an apartment and a job. I've had several interviews in the past week, and am finishing my last one today. I should know whether my degree is worth much by the beginning of next week at the latest.

I know, of course, that my degree is real because I've already started receiving letters from the alumni association asking for money. This makes graduation far more real than the diploma I received in the mail, looked at, and stuffed back with my yoga mat to frolic with the dust bunnies.

As soon as I catch up on some sleep and deal with a sick kitty cat (nothing serious, but she still needs vet appointments), I will be posting as usual. And I have some humdingers up my sleeves!

Happy Thursday everyone!

As always, I'm looking forward to your posts.

Much luck with the job and apartment hunt! My sister is in the same process right now and, even living it vicariously, I know how difficult it can be.

Take care of yourself, too. ;)

About Me

My photo
I'm a science writer, a jewelry design artist, a bookworm, a complete geek, and mom to a wonderful kitty. I am also recovering from a decade-plus battle with anorexia nervosa. I believe that complete recovery is possible, and that the first step along that path is full nutrition.
