The Whole Hog

Finally, a scientists who really gets it.

Read the story at the Angry Toxicologist:

There is no safe level of bacon. It all causes cancer.

Read it. All of it. And, in the faint faint noise of the background, you will hear me. Rejoicing.

Nonsense. Bacon makes you stronger. I'm sure of it.

And, I might add, the amount of nitrites used in curing bacon are no more than the naturally occurring levels of nitrites in your body. And, like, plants have nitrites/ates. No biggie.

Mmmmm.....

About Me

My photo
I'm a science writer, a jewelry design artist, a bookworm, a complete geek, and mom to a wonderful kitty. I am also recovering from a decade-plus battle with anorexia nervosa. I believe that complete recovery is possible, and that the first step along that path is full nutrition.
