Hi Carrie. Thanks for the great visual image and quote which I forwarded to my teenage daughter who is recovering from AN. I am an avid reader of your blog which I learned about from the Maudsley website. i admire the courage you show daily through your writing to use your intellect and isights to fight back and beat the monsterous disease. You are winning. If you would like to back-channel me, I have some questions about your upcoming book/jewelery and some information about Baltimore which might be helpful.

Rio,

The only pet I had as a girl was a Christmas gift, duly named "Rudolph the Black-Nosed Goldfish." He lived about 6 years, too. I wonder what my cat would do with one...

Dorothy,

Thanks for the compliments. I tried to find your email address, but it's not in your profile, so just drop me a line at carrie [AT] edbites [DOT] com

And I do have those gold fork necklaces ready to go. I just need to take a freaking picture. Thus far, the pics look horrible and I haven't posted them because you can't tell what sort of pendant is on the necklace. Grrr.

About Me

My photo
I'm a science writer, a jewelry design artist, a bookworm, a complete geek, and mom to a wonderful kitty. I am also recovering from a decade-plus battle with anorexia nervosa. I believe that complete recovery is possible, and that the first step along that path is full nutrition.
