And then I read the rest and thought, "Good for you!" because instead of acting on the doubt, you blogged about it and responded to yourself rationally. And the rational part is right. And smart. Keep listening to it. :)
-Eme.motions and ana.lysishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441845487147031311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561748834204284315.post-66318726138007714432010-08-03T23:10:18.748-04:002010-08-03T23:10:18.748-04:00I had just read the journal article about uncertai...I had just read the journal article about uncertainty when I read this blog, so what I heard in what you said might be overly influenced by the article. It seems that your panic about the possibility of gaining weight when you leave the bakery could also be about the uncertainty in general of leaving the bakery for an uncertain future in writing. Good for you for recognizing that you are a resourceful person who can deal with uncertainty and influence your own future!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561748834204284315.post-72433607740933602392010-08-03T19:45:40.902-04:002010-08-03T19:45:40.902-04:00Argh! Not helpful!

Right, try and look at it another way (here we go, it's worth a try right?) and maybe not working at the bakery doesn't mean a hard time dealing with ED thoughts because of less activity but potentially an easier time because you're not surrounded by baked goods and customers and workers making comments.

Believe in yourself Carrie. And hey, you've laid out the evidence for yourself - no weight loss when you began and the three week break made no impact.

And as for the comment, well done for the grunting - it's a great response to these comments I find!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
